As long as you meet all requirements, you have 12 months after your license/certificate expires to renew and pay the late fee. CE hours must be completed by December 31 of your expiration year. If you have been expired for more than 12 months you will need to reexam as a new applicant in “Laws and Regulations” and all categories.
If it has been less than eight years since the license has expired, a licensee can renew his or her license by paying the delinquent renewal fee and providing proof of completing 30 hours of continuing education completed within the last two years of the date in which renewing.
